Manchester United player, Anthony Martial has revealed
hisall-time three greatest players and the best goals he has ever scored
in his career.
Speaking to the Daily Mail UK, Martial named Cristiano
Ronaldo, Ronaldinho Gaucho and Zinedine Zidane as his three favourite
players during his childhood.
Martial has been likened to Thierry Henry since he broke
into the first team at AS Monaco but the Manchester United man says the
former La Liga greats were his greatest idols.
He said: “My three favourite players were Ronaldo, the
Brazilian, Ronaldinho and (Zinedine) Zidane because they’re players who
were beautiful to watch play and they’re ones who made me want to play
football.”
Martial named his Manchester United debut goal against Liverpool as
the best of his career so far. After moving to United for £58 million in
the summer, the teenager was given his debut in the derby against
Liverpool.

The striker come on in the last few minutes and scored a beauty when he turned Martin Skrtel in and out before scoring a curler.
He said: “I think the greatest goal I’ve ever scored is the one
against Liverpool,’ Martial said. ‘It was amazing for me and it really
made my name in the Manchester team.”
He added: “‘The atmosphere at Old Trafford is really unique and
when you’re a bit tired, they really help you, they shout out your name
and that gives you extra energy. It is also because of them that I’ve
adapted easily to Manchester.”
On the best team he has ever seen play, Martial said: “I think
the best team I’ve seen play is Barca during Pep Guardiola’s time. I
loved their game philosophy. They had great players in every position
and it really made you want to play football when you watched them
play.”
Manchester United face Watford in their next premier league game. The Frenchman alongside Wayne Rooney, Antonio Valencia have been ruled out due to injury.
