Comedian Basketmouth has sent out a message to robbers in South Africa ahead of his trip to Johannesburg for a comedy festival.

The standup act issued the warning to the robbers in the wake of an attack on Nigerian singer Davido, who was reportedly robbed of $50, 000 as well as personal belongings on his last trip to the country for an event.

Basketmouth posted a picture of N10 notes and a a Mickey Mouse wristwatch, captioning it: “I think I’m all packed for my trip to Johannesburg for Comedy Central International Comedy Festival. (Just trying to let those boys know that I’m going to be a waste of time.”

Basketmouth is a Nigerian award winning comedian. He is married to Elsie Okpocha. The pair tied the knot on Saturday, November 6 and the union has been blessed with children.
