Following the shutdown of the major roads leading to Kogi state
following the election going on in the state today, some commuters have
been left stranded while trying to pass through the state to their
destinations.
Naij.com’s photojournalist, who traveled with other
correspondents to cover the election captured some of the stranded road
users as they were lamenting the hardship they were made to go through.

Meanwhile, some Nigerian traders have quickly cashed in on the
situation and brought out their wares to advertise to the stranded
passengers.
They disregarded the uncomfortable status of their prospective
buyers, and stormed the road to make some money since there had been
dusk to dawn curfew order in the state.
