MeanWhile APC, PDP members join PPA

Lokoja — N0 fewer than 4,800 members from the two major political parties in the State, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kogi Central Senatorial District yesterday defected to the Progressives Peoples Alliance, PPA. 2,900 defected from the All Progressives Congress while 1900 defected from the ruling PDP.
PDP-APC-logoReceiving the defectors in Lokoja during a rally of party, the PPA state chairman, Mr. Simeon Ojonuba promised them the party would fully deliver its agenda if successful in the election.

Ojonuba also acknowledged the pains of the people occasioned by sectional interests and bad governance, assuring that Kogi would be great again under the PPA administration led by its governorship candidate, Mr. Enesi Ozigi.

Meanwhile, the candidate who took the party’s campaign train to his hometown/ward with most of the decampees supporters promised to give the state a facelift if elected governor.

While meeting with prominent leaders in his, Ozuja Abuga ward, Ozigi expressed his gratitude and assured them of his loyalty, statesmanship and total commitment to the quest for change.

Ozigi gave assurance that the time for real transformation was now, appealing to all for their total support to make the mandate a reality.
