Moses Emmanuel won the battle of the in-form strikers as Bromley prevailed 1-0 at Lincoln.
The Ravens' front man and the Imps' Matt Rhead had 23 goals between them this season coming into the match, but it looked as if the respective defences would thwart both until the late stages.
Lincoln had the greater possession in the first half, and Jack Muldoon had a strike superbly blocked by defender Joe Anderson.
Bromley began to impose more pressure after the interval and Anthony Cook struck the bar with a fierce snapshot.
Emmanuel was once again the hero for the Hayes Lane club, prodding home with a poacher's finish when Ali Fuseini's free-kick caused trouble in the Lincoln box.
