Kanye West beat Paparazzi !!! DONT Talk, Just Watch The Video

I can’t begin to fathom what it’s like to be Kanye West, in nearly any respect, but that thought experiment reaches its peak point of failure when it comes to interactions with paparazzi.
If someone was shouting at me on my walk to the train this morning — just like they did to him yesterday and every morning last week and for the last month and basically eternity — I can’t venture any realistic guess as to how I’d respond. I’d like to think that I’d be a civilized person, though I’m not sure how that would manifest. I’d like to think that I’d have something witty to say. I’d like to think that I’d ask them nicely to stop and they would, forever.
For me, this is a hypothetical problem. For Kanye, it is a very, very real one. And to combat it, he’s tried many things — from ignoring to agitatedly answering — but this week, he hit the annoying, overbearing, boundary-crossing, terrible-question-asking paps with a fresh take: A surplus of thank yous

The video above is a true work of art: The speed with which he delivers the thank yous; the way he points to the swarmers, like he’s giving acknowledgement during an acceptance speech; the way he shoots a thumbs up; and, finally, the way it ends, with Kanye responding to the question, “How come you’re such a nice guy these days?” with a genuine, glowing smile, likely because of both the compliment he’s received and the feeling of sucess at the stunt he’s just pulled.
This is hands down my favorite Kanye pap moment — and maybe life moment — since 2013’s legendary, “Tell everybody never talk to anyone that anyone knows.”
It’s a goal I’m still chasing.
