Daily Post in a report quoted the source to have hinted that the former NSA is prepared to expose some ex-presidents who also benefited from the fund meant to buy arms for the Nigerian Armed Forces.
According to the source, it has become imperative for the embattled security czar to reveal the top beneficiaries which allegedly comprised former heads of state and presidents.
Vanguard reported that Dasuki, who was arraigned in court alongside others on a fresh 19-count charge, was quoted by a source as being ready to disclose the identity of top serving and retired Nigerian leaders who benefited from the $2.1 billion which he is now being quizzed to account for.
The source said some of these top beneficiaries which include former heads of state and presidents were bought bullet-proof Sports Utility Vehicles by the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) with funds approved by immediate past president Goodluck Jonathan.
The source was further quoted to have stated that the former presidents and heads of state received one exotic car from Dasuki without knowing the source of the money. The source also alleged that one of the ex-presidents even requested for two SUVs, which the ONSA agreed to deliver.
The source said as reported in the newspaper, the former head of state told the former NSA to station one of the vehicles in Abuja, and the other in Lagos state, to ease his movement within the two cities. The source, however, declined to give the amount the exotic vehicles were purchased for the ex-presidents.
“What is coming will shock Nigerians and many of them will get to know if indeed Dasuki used the money to enrich himself as being bandied in many quarters. As a law-abiding NSA, he had to carry out the instructions handed over to him by the Presidency and nothing more.

The truth of the matter is that all over the world security votes are used for various reasons to bring about national peace and stability and Dasuki could not have done otherwise,” the source said.
In a related development, the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II has denied claims that he gave the office of the embattled former National Security Adviser,
