Omeruo To Seal A Permanent Deal To Turkey

Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo is set to leave Chelsea football club of England as Turkish club Kasimpasa are set to provide five million pounds to seal a permanent deal with the Nigerian defender, whose contract with the London club expires at the end of the 2015/2016 season.

Africanfootball.com reports that the Turkish side are satisfied with the Nigerian player who is on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea.

The 22-year-old has featured eight times for Kasimpasa, who are sixth on the table with 20 points from 13 matches, 10 points behind leaders Fenerbache.

A close source to the club disclosed that both clubs are already in talks to conclude the deal.
“Kasimpasa are very satisfied with Kenneth and they are most likely to active the player’s release clause at Chelsea which is put at between four and five million pounds.”
“His contract will have only a year left by next June and it is expected Chelsea will let him go for a fee by then rather than lose him for nothing thereafter,” the source said.
Injuries have been responsible for the part the games the Chelsea loanee have missed at his present club.
Omeruo returned to action over the weekend in their 2 – 2 draw with Galatasaray after being sidelined as a result of a hamstring injury.
