Katherine Jenkins and her husband Andrew Levitas have welcomed a baby girl in New York.
Posting a series of images to her Instagram page on Wednesday, she wrote: 'Introducing our daughter Aaliyah Reign Levitas, who came loudly into the world weighing almost 7lbs and surrounded by love.
'We are absolutely besotted with her & grateful for the beautiful blessing of this happy, healthy, little miracle. Cwtches all round.'

Katherine shared a very sweet picture of her daughter's tiny foot, as well as her finger as she held onto an adult's finger.

A third image showed her precious bundle of joy wrapped up in a striped pink hat as she snoozed while surrounded by blankets. 
Posting the same picture, Andrew wrote on his own wall, 'We are absolutely besotted with her & grateful for the beautiful blessing of this happy, healthy, little miracle. 
'Mummy is recovering well and Daddy couldn't be prouder of his two gorgeous princesses.'

In a statement released to MailOnline in April, Katherine said: 'We are overjoyed to be expecting our first child in the autumn.'


The opera singer shared her happy pregnancy news on her Instagram and Twitter pages, posting a snap of her and her husband Andrew Levitas on their wedding day with a pair of baby ballet shoes perched on top of the framed photo. 
Katherine and Andrew tied the knot at Hampton Court Palace in September after a whirlwind seven-month romance.

The singer began dating the American artist and film director back in February last year. The pair got engaged in April and married five months later. 
In November, just two months after tying the knot, the soprano revealed she was already ready to become a mother.
The Welsh singer frankly told the Sunday People: 'Now I'm married I do want kids.'

She added: 'I do really want a family. Please God, touch wood, we'll be lucky and they'll be fit and healthy. That's all I care about.' 
In another interview talking about her dream of becoming a parent, Katherine told Fabulous Magazine that she will make sure any children she has come first, and not her career.
The singer explained that, following the birth of her nephew, she was more broody than ever, and said of her sister Laura: 'She's got this natural maternal instinct and I want to experience that myself.

'I really want children. The next question is 'How will I make the family dream happen?' I'm looking forward to that and I think it will be a challenge. I want to be able to put my children first.'.
She continued: 'I think that's really hard to do when you're on the road.' 
Katherine has already confirmed she plans to take a break from her career until the New Year, telling the Daily Post in July: 'I will be back next year and 2016 is already looking like it's going to be absolutely amazing and very exciting.'
While she will be enjoying time out with her daughter for awhile, the singer has revealed she'll be performing at next year's famous Llangollen Eisteddfod festival and the Queen's 90th birthday celebration concert in May.
