Do you love “The Walking Dead,” but feel like the only thing that’s missing is more glorious scenes of Daryl Dixon riding his motorcycle off into the sunset?
Then you’re in luck, because AMC has officially greenlit a reality series about the man behind Daryl Dixon, Norman Reedus, doing just that.
Deadline reports that “Ride With Norman Reedus” — currently the show’s working title — has been given a six-episode order at AMC, who pulled away from reality content a year ago to focus on their scripted series, like “The Walking Dead.” It will focus on Reedus touring the country to explore the local motorcycle culture in various cities, “Sons of Anarchy”-style.
The show will premiere in 2016, and apparently Reedus, an avid motorcycle enthusiast in real life, will bring a friend along with him each episode to “stop at various locales such as custom bike shops, tattoo parlors, collector’s warehouses, or a roadside smokehouse.” Which sounds great, as we at MTV News have a pretty solid suggestion for who should tag along:
