Barry Hawkins suggested the tables at the UK Championship should be burned after losing 6-3 to Robin Hull in the last 32 of snooker's second biggest ranking event.
The 2013 World Championship finalist Hawkins was unhappy with
the conditions of the four table set-up at York's Barbican Centre.
He is echoing comments made by Ding Junhui, who was scathing
about the tables during his defeat to part-time builder Adam Duffy in
the first round of the event.
Scotsman Stephen Maguire has also complained about the tables at
the tournament, snooker's second biggest ranking event behind the World
Championship.
Unlike Hawkins, Maguire made his comments after demolishing Jame Cope 6-0 in the second round.
"It's not good for the crowd because we can't play good snooker," said 2004 UK champion Maguire.

"The conditions were just unplayable," commented Hawkins on the BBC
"It was a load of old rubbish performance-wise, but I had no confidence in the table.
"I think we should set fire to the lot of them to be honest."
